Los mayores premios del mundo del cine se han vuelto a acordar de estrellas muy importantes en el mundo de la televisión. Este jueves, la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood ha dado a conocer la lista de nominados a la 87ª edición de los Premios Óscar.

Entre ellos, destacan algunos nombres tan conocidos para la pequeña pantalla como Benedict Cumberbatch, actor que protagoniza la serie Sherlock y que se estrena en estas nominaciones gracias a la película The Imitation Game. Competirá junto a intérpretes de la talla de Steve Carell, Bradley Cooper, Michael Keaton o Eddie Redmayne.

También Patricia Arquette pondrá la huella televisiva en la próxima gala de los Óscar. La actriz protagonista de Médium o la futura CSI: Cyber ganó el pasado domingo el Globo de Oro como Mejor actriz de reparto en drama por su trabajo en Boyhood y ahora la Academia de Hollywood la ha nominado a Mejor actriz de reparto junto a Laura Dern, Keira Knightley, Emma Stone y Meryl Streep.

'Birdman' y 'El Gran Hotel Budapest' son las películas con mayor número de nominaciones

Precisamente la película de Arquette, Boyhood, es una de las mejores posicionadas para llevarse el Óscar a Mejor Película. Competirá en esta categoría junto a Birdman, aparentemente su principal rival; American Sniper; The Imitation Game; Selma; La teoría del todo, El Gran Hotel Budapest y Whiplash.

Birdman también lucha con fuerza colocando además a Michael Keaton entre los mejores actores. El actor ya ganó el pasado domingo el Globo de Oro y ahora amenaza con hacer lo propio en la que es ya su primera nominación al Óscar.

Una de las grandes sorpresas la ha dado La LEGO película, que se ha quedado fuera de las nominaciones a Mejor película animada. En su lugar, están las cintas Big Hero 6, The Boxtrolls, Song of the Sea, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya y Cómo entrenar a tu dragón 2.
